Anthony V. Casaccio

Anthony Casaccio practices in the areas of commercial and residential real estate, zoning and property tax law.

Anthony has represented clients before the Cook County Assessor's Office, Cook County Board of Review, and the Circuit Court of Cook County to contest and litigate proposed real estate tax assessments for commercial, industrial and multi-unit residential properties. He has successfully reduced property taxes on office buildings, retail centers, industrial facilities, residential condominiums, mixed use apartment buildings and single family homes.

He also represented governmental, charitable, religious and educational entities to secure real estate tax exemptions throughout Illinois.

In addition, Anthony provides consulting services in property tax planning and pre-acquisition due diligence. He also advises real estate lenders on the property tax aspects of proposed loans and assists in securing property tax reductions on REO properties.
