Addison Koester is an associate attorney at Schain Banks, where he focuses on municipal and zoning matters. Prior to joining Schain Banks, Addison worked at Investors Title Services, where he gained experience in residential closings, buyer and seller agreements, and wholesale and 7.0 contracts. He also worked at Diaz Case Law, where he handled residential evictions, foreclosures, administrative hearings related to real estate, DACA renewal, and green card renewal.

Addison’s legal experience extends beyond the private sector, having served in the Army National Guard. Addison worked in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) office at Joint Force Headquarters during the summers of 2017 and 2018. There, he assisted in the preparation of hearings, the legal assessment of equipment loss, and the drafting of wills, among other tasks. Additionally, Addison has worked as a legal intern at Shartzer Law Firm, where he drafted briefs, memos, motions, pleadings, and summons, prepared witnesses for trial, and participated in hearings, depositions, mediations, and interviews.

Addison earned his Juris Doctorate from Indiana University and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Indianapolis. He is licensed to practice law in Illinois and holds a Top Secret/SCI Clearance.
