Kevin Ameriks

Kevin Ameriks practices in our Commercial Litigation Practice Group.

Kevin focuses on commercial litigation, collections, bankruptcy, real estate, and advises on a variety of business issues.

Kevin developed significant arbitration, trial, and deposition experience for two Loop boutique firms before serving for many years as in-house litigator and corporate counsel for a leading community bank. In that role, Kevin was an influential performer in furthering that institution’s recapitalization and risk management with viable workouts and asset recapture via foreclosure, judgment enforcement, and leveraged negotiation.

Kevin has extensive experience representing plaintiffs and defendants with sizable claims in state and federal courts and a host of other forums.  Kevin has achieved efficient case resolution and fulfillment of client objectives in contested matters ranging from fraud and statutory actions to participation agreements and insurance disputes. 

Kevin is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association, maintains fluency in French, and has substantially assisted several area non-profit organizations and pro bono causes over the years.
