Ben Weber practices in our commercial litigation department. His focuses include general commercial and business litigation, real estate litigation, evictions, and citation proceedings. Ben has experience in handling contested court hearings and drafting and defending briefs at various stages of litigation. Ben has also worked in our zoning department and handled various zoning projects in the City of Chicago and in suburban communities.
Prior to joining Schain Banks, Ben gained litigation experience in Chicago handling commercial litigation and insurance matters, as well as matters involving the Illinois Worker’s Compensation Act.
Ben graduated cum laude from Loyola University School of Law in Chicago. He received Dean’s List honors all six semesters and was the Publications Editor on the Loyola Consumer Law Review. During law school, he clerked in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office where he drafted appellate briefs for the State on wide range of issues.
