Rick began his career as a law clerk with Schain, Banks, Kenny & Schwartz, Ltd. Following his admission to the bar, he became a valued asset through his representation of a large commercial client in debt collection and breach of contract matters.

He is versed in matters involving mechanics liens, post-judgment proceedings, and has developed a highly successful approach to debt collection issues. Rick has successfully represented real estate developers and other clients in state court and administrative proceedings by defending against and negotiating settlements for municipal code violations. He also offers experience with real estate transactions and municipal/insurance defense. Rick is a lifelong resident of Chicago and has consistently engaged in pro bono representation of individuals that would otherwise be unable to afford legal services. As an undergraduate at Illinois State University, Rick participated in archaeological research projects in the Republic of Ireland.
